Self Love #2: "The question again?"

If "love" is the answer, would you ask the question again?

What did you like to do when you were little?

This February weekend, our challenge to you is to remember something you loved to do when you were younger, something that fulfilled you, that entertained you, that made you dream, that inspired you. Think about it and make time to do it again.

I give you my top favorite things,

THAT I REMEMBERED:

I danced, a lot. In front of the mirror as a child, with music in my ears as an adult, at discos, all the time. Now... it seems clear what level I am at. But that day, the boys were out, and I was packing my skis and dancing all over the apartment. Then I was like new. I used to draw flowers. Delicate and beautiful. Now I draw triangles and sketches when I have time. With Milencheto we used to go around the shops and malls for hours , we would dress up in the most outrageous clothes and have fun from the bottom of our hearts. This dates back to school almost to this day, now it is a rarity. Milencheto, I know you are reading this post, think about it :) Snowboarding found me. I was studying at university, I was already working in an advertising agency, I was just working, I was a complete workaholic. And it all started from a team building. Then I found Stani, with whom I shared this obsession. We rode 60 days a season, and that's how I reminded myself what it feels like to fly. I still do it, but this year I'm on 2 days of riding...haha. But my biggest passion was ice skating. 24/7. I was so enthusiastic that my grandmother even started taking me to figure skating lessons, just to ride my hockey skates. I didn't do any of the exercises, it was just important to ride more. My dear grandmother would sit with me and wait for me for an hour and a half in the cold. Then I would skate on free rinks, then we would form a women's hockey team (let's be clear, we never played, we just practiced skating for 5 hours a day, literally), I also had a hockey player boyfriend, of course, and it was good that Tina and Milencheto were there to finish school. So, I had the greatest freedom, I was flying and couldn't sleep from excitement. Then I fell with a concussion from a random collision and that's how it all ended. I gave up, apparently it was time for something new. But now, ten years later, I took out my skates and rode.
And you know, there was a lot of fear, a lot of excitement, and a lot of love. I reminded myself of what it feels like to do something for the first time , how you keep going without knowing , how you don't give up because you're interested. And that's our message to you.
Remind yourself of where you've come from, what you've done, what you've forgotten, what energized you, remind yourself of who you are. Smiles and love, Annie
